José Martínez nació y creció en Puerto Rico. Actualmente lleva 20 años de casado con Nelly Martínez donde juntos han servido dentro del ministerio Teen Challenge por más de 25 años.
Unfortunately, a large part of his youth were spent in addictions and gang activities, but due to the grace of God, his history with Teen Challenge was the beginning and not the end.
